It was well priced, compared to other characterful hotels. The location in a pretty comfortable area was particularly good and there were a market and shops nearby...

We booked deluxe room that was complete with big TV, balcony access, for instance as advertised. Perfect and incredible location - just walking distance from everywhere we needed. You could walk to a market and shops.

The location is fantastic, with easy access to everything and a lovely balcony overlooking the main street. The room was stylish and spacious, though noise from the bar and patrons made it hard to relax. Amenities could use improvement, especially the bathroom fan, which was quite loud. a mixed experience.

I found myself enjoying a relaxed weekend getaway in a charming town. the Sunday market was a delightful spot to chat with locals, nibble on homemade goodies, and collect bric-a-brac like I was on a treasure hunt. My room was compact but cozy, and I loved sitting on the balcony, pretending I was a rightsized Belgian who could ignore the bustle below.

We were pleasantly surprised with the beautiful rooms and bathroom at Royal. The design exceeded our expectations with exposed brick walls and leadlight glass. The balcony access provided a great view of the leafy green trees. The amenities such as blinds, lighting, and TV worked perfectly. The staff were incredibly helpful, even replacing our kettle within minutes. The spa bath was absolutely amazing. we were blown away by the value and are already planning our next visit.

The markets are a great place to meet the locals and browse through homemade goods. The country bar has a wide selection of drinks, perfect for cozy evenings. The open space with a projector screen is great for presentations or Friday night football.
I didn't like not having a proper breakfast, instead getting a sad box with corn flakes and plastic fruit. So fancy and luxurious!

The location of the hotel is very convenient, offering easy access to most places about town. Downstairs pub has a nice atmosphere and is perfect for a casual drink or meal with friends. Staff is friendly and accommodating, making the check, in and check, out process easy.
The hotel rooms lack sound, proofing, leading to noise disturbances that can disrupt a peaceful night's sleep.
